HEALING IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS

Matthew 8:16-17
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

If you need healing, says these words:
Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. He carried away my sicknesses and diseases. He bore them away and removed them. Disease is not mine. Healing is mine. I refuse to bear what Jesus bore for me. Satan, you cannot put disease on me. I refuse to accept sickness. I will not tolerate sickness. Sickness and disease are totally unacceptable to me.

THE BABY AND THE BATH WATER

I believe strongly that there is a need for a totally new radical approach to congregational worship. Unlike some who want to dump the old styles and embrace every new style, I thinks that it is wrong to call the old, 'old wineskins'. I feel that the best of all styles should be retained and employed together with present and pioneer innovative ways to worship congregationally. I also believes that strong confrontational 'personal cross/discipleship' preaching is necessary and that there is a need for instituting the 'five fold ministry in leadership, although there needs to be a final authority figure, who is the overseer. Although body members should be facilitated in their 'gifting in the work of the ministry', Friends, I firmly believes that the Bible clearly teaches that there is a separation unto full time ministry and major difference between Clergy and Laity.

THE ISSUE OF FAITH

Your mouth is connected to your heart and what is in your heart determines whether you are good or bad (Luke 6:43-45).
What you continue to speak will be planted in your heart and will overwhelm your life.
Habits and desires are created by where you focus your attention.
Eventually you will believe what you continually speak and it will be born in your life.
Nothing in life happens without a cause—good or bad.
Whether a man is good or bad is determined by what is in his heart.
A man is not good or bad based on his actions.
What is in a man's heart will eventually be seen.
Good treasure in a man's heart produces good fruit and makes that man good.
Bad treasure in a man's heart produces bad fruit and makes that man bad.
Your outcome in life is determined by your roots, or what is in your heart.

Don't speak idle or empty words (Matthew 12:36).
Idle words are words that have no meaning.
For example: saying things you don't really mean, or saying things that aren't really in your heart.

THE DEAN'S NEWSLETTER

You are welcome and we thank you for visiting our website. We are a new branch within Pentecostalism and therefore it is always wonderful to hear from new people who are genuinely interested in what we are doing. I am the Pastoral Dean of Students at our local churches Pentecostal Bible Institute.

Have you got the call of God upon your life to enter the Christian Ministry? We are expanding as a denomination and we need young radical ministers to fulfill the plan of God for not only our own country but also all across the world.

Also, I say that you do not hesitate to contact the Founder and Overseeing Bishop, Revd. Dr. S. J. Houston by e-mail if you so desire:

In 1 Peter 2:24 it says;
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

(Today's meaning) "His bruising was your healing."

Confess: By Jesus' stripes I was healed. Healing belongs to me. I was healed 2,000 years ago by the stripes Jesus bore. I'm not trying to get healed. I've got healing, because by His stripes I was healed.

Thousands of Christians are going along to get along. Others are so frustrated or hurt by Churches that they no longer attend any Church. Others have rebelled against going to Church and some believe that we all should become 'Messianic Jewish believers' and start to rebuild and live by the Old Testament Law, festivals and traditions. 'Seeker friendly', 'Five steps to success', 'Going to your next level', churches abound everywhere. If the music's good, the message is void of conviction, there is no dress code, the leadership look 'cool', then it is supposedly a good 'church'. Thousands will flock to it and be satisfied with 'in thing' banality. Am I talking about going back to 'Hymn sandwiches', 'evangelical fundamentalist concepts', or traditional nonconformist protestant forms of worship? No! Should we sing dirges and memorize the catechism? No! However, we should not ditch the valuable and rather, renew it with innovation together with the most pioneering radical new styles. In other words, be unique. Last week's service shouldn't be this week's 'game plan'. The preaching and teaching needs to convict the soul into discipleship, submission to leadership's covering, personal faith and carrying a personal daily cross walk in Christ. No more buffing up the 'old nature' to implement 'strange fire' before the Lord, but rather, putting on the 'new nature' by being taught to 'being conformed to His image', by 'putting on Christ'.

> Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of the things you can't see (Hebrews 11:1):
Faith is the "title deed", confirmation and proof of what you are believing God to do in your life.
The faith of God is a combination of the promises of God and your confidence in them.
Faith is a practical expression of your developed confidence in God and His ability to reward you. It is also having confidence in His Word and its seed-producing ability to bring forth a harvest in your life.
Confidence must be developed.
